Why I pick it: The 60 x 32 spec you asked for, with integral apron and a 3-sided tiling flange built into the part — no separate flashing on the trim side. Acrylic with fiberglass reinforcement so the cost lands closer to a builder-grade tub but the feel is closer to spec. Requires the Deep Soak Max drain; I will quote it with the tub.
Why I pick it: Americast composite — porcelain enamel on enameling-grade steel, structural composite backer. Behaves like cast iron, weighs about half. Lifetime limited warranty against chips and cracks. The right base for units where the shower has to last the lease lifecycle, not just the first turnover.
Why I pick it: Three-piece subway-tile-pattern surround at 60 wide x 72 tall — pairs directly with the Princeton 60x32 base above. Three-piece breaks down for elevators and turns; no in-field tile work to fail an inspection. Subway pattern reads upscale without the upscale tile cost.
Why I pick it: Compact freestanding statement for penthouse and hero units — under 6 ft long and under 200 lb dry, so it works on upper floors without structural gymnastics. Drain and overflow come integrated, keeping finish-out simple.
Why I pick it: 36 x 36 corner shower base with center drain. The curved front face buys back perceived floor area in tight 1BR / studio plans — material spec is what matters here when the unit mix tips toward smaller floor plates.
